4. How often should pavers be resealed?

There isn't one exact resealing schedule for every property. Sun exposure, traffic, weather, drainage, maintenance, paver type, and the sealing system can all affect how a sealed surface ages.

Rather than automatically adding more sealer after a certain number of years, we recommend evaluating the existing surface to determine when resealing is actually appropriate.

5. Do you clean the pavers before sealing?

Yes. Proper paver cleaning and surface preparation are essential parts of the sealing process. We thoroughly clean the surface and evaluate contaminants such as organic growth, dirt, oils, staining, and existing coatings before moving forward with joint sanding and sealing.

New ASTM C144 joint sand is installed as needed during our full paver sealing process. After cleaning, the joints are evaluated and sand is worked into the joints to restore appropriate levels before sealing.

We also offer multiple joint sand colors so homeowners can choose an option that complements their pavers.

7. What joint sand colors are available?

Our available ASTM C144 joint sand colors include Pearl, Tan, Gray, Fieldstone, Platinum, and Black.

13. Can pavers be sealed if they're still wet?

14. What happens if rain is expected?
